Learn team level SAFe to become SAFe 5.1 Practitioner
Agile teams are the building blocks for creating and delivering value. They are made up of empowered and motivated individuals who fill the Development Team, Scrum Master, and Product Owner roles. Agile teams power the Agile Release Train (ART), and therefore, the two are inseparable. An Agile team is primarily responsible for achieving the organization’s goal of moving to complete Lean-Agile development. Their work is to estimate the size and complexity of the work, commit to the work to complete in an iteration, and then execute the iteration. Therefore, every member of the agile team must have the proper knowledge and skills to perform their role. AgileTraining.Co SAFe 5.1 for Teams trains all team members to ensure that they have the required knowledge and skills.
This two-day course is exclusively designed for team members who apply Lean and Agile methodologies at scale. It empowers them with the required skillsets for high performance.
The learning objective of the training is to understand the concept of SAFe including underlying principles and values, Agile Release Train (ART), Agile Process (Scrum, Kanban, or XP), and how to deliver value regardless of the Agile processes the team employs. Attendees will also learn to write epics, break them down into features and stories, plan and execute iterations, and execute the PI.
Learning a new way of thinking about project management. I really liked day 2 when we were able to apply learning.
Student guide is easy to understand. Instructor was very knowledgeable and was able to provide simple understandable case scenarios to assist me with understanding / learning process.
I liked the format and how the instructor was able to set the pace based on our group. WSJF exercise was helpful.
I liked the content of the SAFe course, terminologies and the way it was presented. The case study helped in understanding the whole picture of SAFe. Would have preferred more examples on some of the concepts and some more detailed case study.
I liked that the instructor. Plenty of detailed examples to support key concepts. He also encouraged questions and discussions which helped reinforce learning.
I liked the hands-on portions of the training.(Games and case study). Add more hands-on portions and slides, although information can be monotonous
Gourab was well informed and kept the focus on getting us to what we want. A comprehensive understanding rather than teaching to the test.
Very interactive, instructor open to discussion of new ideas and adaption to our needs. Up-front investment of instructor (before class) in specific needs of company would have been helpful.
